Travel & Inspirations

In both business and personal life, I've always found that travel inspires me more than anything else I do. Evidence of the languages, cultures, scenery, food, and design sensibilities that I discover all over the world can be found in every piece of my jewelry.

Here are some of my favorite destinations, where I return again and again for relaxation and motivation:

Morocco

“One of my favorite countries in the world, Morocco sits on the North African coastlines of both the North Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Chic beaches, endless deserts, mountain ranges, and urban landscapes coexist in perfect harmony here, as does an unparalleled patchwork of cultures, religions, and influences.

The fragrances wafting from the marketplaces in Marrakech are intoxicating, and the great plaza of Djeema El Fna at sunset is a must-see when I’m in town. Tangier, the city that’s closest to Spain, has historically attracted some of the world’s most influential artists, musicians, and writers to its landmarks (the Kasbah, for instance), artwork, and enigmatic charm. Fez is the former capital of Morocco, and is one of the oldest and largest medieval cities in the world. The history here is, in a word, magnificent.”
